Virginia Ambulance was originally owned by John Greggori, with Terry Riley and Jack Morgan as employees
1996 brought change for the company as Terry and Jack purchased the company from John
History of the Company
1998 was a year of great sadness for the tight family structure of the company as John Greggori passed away on November 24, 1998
In April of 2006 more change came to the company when Terry Riley purchased Jack Morgan's share of the company and became the sole owner of Virginia Ambulance Service.
Again great sadness fell upon the company when Jack Morgan passed away October 2, 2015.
A New Year
In January of 2017, Terry Riley retired from the company and Carolyn Isaacs stepped up to run the family business.
Today, Virginia Ambulance employees 17 people, ranging from office staff, BLS providers, and ALS providers. The fleet has grown to 6 ALS capable ambulances with 1 Body Removal van for funeral home transports. The call volume has also greatly increased from the initial 900 the first year to over 2,400 yearly.
